The Skyhook has recently expanded into a chain of nightclubs, business at the original having started in the Sakht Genolution station in the autumn of 108. The newest club is located in Lai Dai Protection Service station orbiting the second moon of Airkio's seventh planet. The clientele here is once again not restricted to capsuleers, and the design of the club is very similar to that of its predecessor.

A bouncer and a pair of sentry guns set on standby guard the front entrance, where all weapons are confiscated, tagged, and brought to the coat check for return when the customer leaves. Upon entering you'll find that the architecture of the facility is unmistakably Gallentean, with gently curved, asymmetrical walls, but the steel construction and slightly chilly ambience is very typical of Caldari nightclubs. Dividers force customers to pass by the bar upon entrance, from which a wide variety of drinks (and some light snacks) are available.

A few booths and tall tables face the center of the moderately sized dance hall, where late at night and in the early morning (by the cluster's standard clock) there is usually a sizable crowd of customers on the floor. Most often the DJ spins provocative, intelligent electronic tunes that are completely in sync with the brilliant blue lighting effects produced on stage and about the room. The music is loud, but with the speakers far away from the bar area, resting customers or those less inclined to get out on the dance floor are able to carry on normal conversation. Every once and a while there will be a band playing on stage, the genre of which is not always the same.

Beyond the length of the bar lies a closed blue door, locked by smartcard and handprint identification. There is no sign or indication of what lies beyond it.
